On The Move is Moving

The seasons have changed, the leaves are starting to and On The Move has changed too.

Ashley and I have secured her school, Northampton Area Community College, as a primary filming location. The bulk of the film will be shot there.

My friend and frequent collaborator Bryan Schaefer will be joining as well. He will serve as Director of Photography. His expertise and experience will be invaluable to the production.

We set up a schedule for the film, with the weekend following Thanksgiving being the bulk of the shoot dates. Three consecutive filming days will give the film a great continuity. I am also hoping for a better consistency in the performances.

As with all of my films, there are further setbacks. Two of the actors backed out, one due to scheduling conflicts and the other due to taking an exaggeration personally. We are recasting these roles.

I am eager to get behind the camera again, especially with the diverse cast. The sooner the better. I can't wait to tackle this unique project.

On a side note, if you're a steampunk or Three Musketeers fan, check out the film. Not the best film of the year, nor is it the best adaptation of the Dumas classic. But it's a good time, unique and fun.
